job summary:
A Pre-Construction Engineer is needed in Akron, Ohio or St. Louis, Missouri for a leading Engineering and Construction firm. Kick off major projects by creating workflow plans and spreadsheets. Learn the full project lifecycle and constructability of utility construction projects. Requires a degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience.

responsibilities:

• Staff on the portfolio team will assist with the assembly of transmission line, substation, network and physical security projects.
• Daily interface and coordination with planning portfolio engineers, client management and client sponsors to develop the long-range integrated portfolio plan based on existing projects and Planning strategies
• Ensure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of work
• Review client sponsors' projects and ensure project is supported by proper justification
• Create conceptual estimates and schedules by working with sponsors and Project Managers on their requests

qualifications:
Experience level: Entry Level

Minimum 2 years of experience

Education: Bachelors (required)
